Visits to Montauk

After Christmas, my boyfriend and I went to visit Montauk for our one year anniversary.  we stayed there for two days and explored the surrounding area.

The area was far different than it is during the summer season when tourists roam about the waterfront town.  The town was quiet and empty during the holiday season.  With many of the local shops closed for the season, many residents off visiting elsewhere, and tourists back at home. 

It was cold and desolate, but it definitely was not any less beautiful.  We visited many different waterfront and off the beaten path spots. It was an amazing trip and a beautiful place that I would gladly visit again, although I hope next time it will be warmer when I do
